Hello dear supporters and friends!
It’s been a while since our last post. We have been very busy (full of cool stuffs again!) with launch of new website for Data Center Light, and moving forward with our data center.
One of the coolest news would be of course our continuous open source works. We updated cluster to new CEPH version, we’re quite proud of it, because we basically changed everything below our VM and had NO downtime! This will allow us to grow further.
These topics all deserve its own post, yes, and maybe we will do it in time. (when do we have time again? Wait..what day was it today? It’s been a long time we took a break.)
But one thing is certain among all these hectic days and nights: we are moving forward.
We are moving forward much more than we’ve been sharing on our twitter, Facebook, and blog. We brought really cool ideas into reality, one of them being our datacenter, which has been up and running already for a while in Schwanden.
To celebrate our new datacenter prototype and give some updates to our friends and supporters, we prepared a day of open doors at our Digital Chalet Schwanden.
Digital Chalet Schwanden, the place where we had our opening party of Digital Glarus coworking space and jazz concert and countless workshops for open source and LoraWAN, and now a new home for Digitales Bildung ungleich. (A really cool digital learning club ungleich started some time ago!)
We will have our Digital Chalet open for visit from 11:00, our team ungleich will be there to meet you and say hello, we will present our data center prototype, will tell you our visions for digitalisation of canton Glarus.
So, come see us, meet really friendly and cool people, and have the glimpse of the future we are preparing!
